The Covid-19 pandemic has restricted much of our access to some every-day activities such as going to the gym or doing group sports. But, that does not mean that we can not find alternatives and ways to stay healthy and get outside.

Depending on your local availability, you can engage in a number of different activities. Additionally, if you have access to lakes, national parks, hiking trails or winter wonderlands, your possibilities are much more wider.
Some of these activities include:

🚢 Walking

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ Running and hiking

πŸš΅β€β™€οΈ Biking

πŸ§— Rock climbing

β›΅ Kayaking, canoeing, diving, boating or sailing

⛷️ Skiing

πŸ‚πŸΎ Snowboarding

πŸ‹πŸ» Outdoor Fitness classes

🧘🏿 Outdoor Yoga

Cold or warm – most of these activities, such as walking, can be done during any type of weather or season. You can also use a fitness app, writsband or smart watch t maximize your workout and track your steps while you’re walking. Integrated Health apps on most smartphones such as Samsung Health or Apple Health even provide walking challenges that you can do with friends. Also, you can enter global challenges and take your fitness and health into your own hands.

Numerous apps allow you to compete with other active people virtually, from walking to running challenges to virtual bike races. Most important of all, try to stay consistent with moving your body daily, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
